Glitter is for LIFE!

I am so excited to post my card for this week's Peachy Keen Challenge because I think I have finally figured out how to use glitter. A few months ago, I found a glue stamp pad. I am new to this whole crafty thing, but I LOVE a little sparkle (let's face it A LOT of sparkle). I immediately purchased it, and thought it would be fantastic. I couldn't wait to take it home and test it out.  Unfortunately, the glitter did NOT stay on very well, but my card was too cute not to send. So, I glittered bombed someone, but I promised myself that I would not let that happen again.  I took to the internet to find a resolution. I tried a couple of different things and did not have success. Today, I stamped the Happy Halloween with my glue stamp pad, and sprinkled glitter on it.  I then sprayed it with a clear glossy acrylic spray paint that I I bought at Hobby Lobby, and let it dry. The glitter stuck! SUCCESS!  Now, if you could only tell from the photo...

Peachy Keen Challenge 39 :: Color Inspiration

Hello, everyone!  I ordered more Copic Markers from MarkerPOP last week, so I decided I wanted to play with them.  After all, I will never get better unless I practice, right?  Plus, it gave me the opportunity to use the new Stamp of the Month from Peachy Keen.  I just realized the Happy Thanksgiving Sentiment didn't show up very well in the photo.  Oh well!

A Very Peachy Weekend

Wow!  It's October.  I did not intend to be away from my blog this long. I squeezed in a little time this weekend (since it was extended) to do a little crafting. Last week was release week for the Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month. I look forward to this time each month. I participated in the two challenges for the October Release celebration, and I also made a card for Peachy Keen's regular monthly challenge.  I hope you enjoy!
