You're Out of this World!

Hello! The card I have to share with you today, actually looked better in my head. My mom is an elementary science teacher, and I wanted to make her a Valentine's Day card that incorporated Outer Space.  I entered this card in the Peachy Keen Challenge.  I found the spaceship in the Silhouette Store. I used my spellbinders circle dies to make the circles in the background, and I used the My Creative Time scalloped and circle die for my sentiment.  Here's what I came up with:

Items Used:
Silhouette Online Store: Alien in Ship
Peachy Keen Stamps: Monster Mash Face Assortment
My Creative Time: Scallop & Stitched Circle Die;
My Creative Time: All Around Valentine's Day;
My Creative Time: Stitched Heart Layer Dies
Glossy Accents
White Gelly Roll Pen
Heart Brads
Black Memento Ink

Bears, Bears, Bears!

I was super excited when Peachy Keen announced the Teddy Bear Face Assortment. I hardly wasted any time trying to justify the purchase. I couldn't wait to get it in my hot little hands and play with it. This week's Peachy Keen Challenge was a 3D Object with bears. I got married in 2011, and ever since then, I have wanted to something with the candy jars we purchased for our reception. I decided to decorate one for Valentine's Day. Too bad it has leftover Christmas candy in it...  Here it is:

Items Used:
Cupid with Bow & Arrow - MyScrapChick Valentine Bears
Face - Peachy Keen Teddy Bear Face Assortment
White & Pink Gelly Roll Pens
Diamond Stickles for Cupid's Wing

Now, I feel inspired to start making my Valentine Day cards.  Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have an excellent week.

Happy New Year!

Well, it's 2013, and this is my first post.  I've been crazy busy, and work is keeping me away for another month.  I had to make a couple of quick cards before I leave.  I'm always excited for the Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month release, and this month didn't disappoint.  For the January Release, I created a birthday card for a good friend.  The theme of this challenge was use something new.  I used new spellbinder dies.  I have recently discovered how wonderful these are for making quick cards.  I can't wait to buy more.  Here's my submission for the January challenge:
Items Used:
Cuddlebug Folders for embossing
Spellbinder Dies
Gelly Roll Pen for Stitching
Heart Buttons from JoAnn

For this week's Peachy Keen Challenge, I unfortunately didn't use any Peachy Keen stamps.  I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do, and I ran out of time.  Here it is:
Items Used:

Rectangle - Spellbinder Die
Gelly Roll Pen for Stitching
Buttons from JoAnn

Hopefully, next week's post will be better.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week!

Here it is:
